PRINCETON — Two contests from Tuesday's election remain too close to call.

Preliminary results from the circuit clerk race show Mary Romanelli Dremann ahead of challenger Dawn Reglin by only 97 votes.

In an even tighter race for the Bureau County Board, incumbent Mike Maynard leads Republican challenger Weldon Wilkinson by 275 to 272 votes for the District 15 seat.

On Thursday, Bureau County Clerk Kami Hieronymus said both races are too close to call, and the winners will not be announced until the Nov. 20 deadline is reached and all absentee ballots have been received and counted by her office.
