PERU — St. Valentine Catholic Church in Peru has a raffle underway, the proceeds from which will benefit the church’s roof repair project. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold.  Cost of a ticket is $100.

If fewer than 300 tickets are sold, the ticket sales proceeds will be evenly split between the church and the holder of the winning raffle ticket, with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 to the winning ticket holder. If 300 or more tickets are sold, the winner will have the choice of a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra or a $15,000 cash prize. Drawing of the winning raffle ticket will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 27.
