SHEFFIELD — The Sheffield churches will host a community worship service to celebrate Thanksgiving at 7 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Sheffield.

All family, friends and neighbors in the Sheffield community are invited to join in word, song, readings, a children’s message and thanks for God’s blessings. A refreshment social time will follow.

Participants include Pastor Todd Krost and Sheffield United Methodist Church, Father Mark Miller and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Rev. Jane Courtright and the First United Church of Christ. Offerings of food or money will be donated to the food pantry.
