Council seats up for grabs

PRINCETON — Princeton registered voters who want to run in next spring's Princeton City Council election can file their candidacy intent next week in Princeton City Hall.

On Tuesday, Deputy City Clerk Peggy Carr said two Princeton Council commissioner positions will be open in the April 9, 2013, consolidated election; those positions are currently held by commissioners Bob Warren and Terry Madsen, who have indicated they will run for re-election.

The filing period for candidates is Nov. 19 through Nov. 26, but city hall is closed Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday, Carr said.
