The Christmas Mini-Tree Festival at the Prairie Arts Center will be Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 17 through Dec. 2. Extended hours are 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 30. From 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 24, there will be easy Christmas crafts for children and adults, and cookies will be served. The trees ranging from 18 to 36 inches tall are individually designed and uniquely decorated by local creative artists. A raffle for these trees will be a fundraiser for the not-for-profit Prairie Arts Center in order to bring arts to Bureau County. You do not have to be present to win. The winners will be announced Dec. 2.
