Logan band/choir holding fundraiser for upcoming trip

PRINCETON — The Logan Junior High Concert band and choir are currently selling poinsettias and Butter Braids until Nov. 26. All proceeds will help raise funds for the band and choir trip to Branson, Mo.

The Logan Junior High concert band and choir will be performing and touring Branson, Mo., the weekend of May 3-6, 2013. Thirty-two seventh/eighth grade students, three parents and three Logan teachers will be going on the trip. The group will be taking a motor coach for the seven-hour trip to Branson. Once in Branson the band and choir will participate in a performance clinic at a local college, perform at various venues and enjoy a day at Silver Dollar City.

The trip costs about $600 per student. Anyone who would like to help the music program can purchase these items from the Logan Junior High or Reagan Middle School offices, or call 815-878-6415.
