Occupation: Museum director for the Bureau County Historical Society.

What is the last book you read: “Lincoln” by David Herbert Donald.

What is the last TV show you watched: “American Pickers.”

If you were stranded on a desert island and could have just one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be: Berghoff’s sauerbraten and creamed spinach. 

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one thing with you, what would it be: My watch — I always need to know what time it is. 

What is your favorite local restaurant: Indian Valley Inn, Tiskilwa.

If someone handed you a million dollars, how would you spend it: Give some to my family, invest for retirement, and take my husband and sons to Italy. 

People would be surprised to know that you: I don’t have a Facebook account.

What is your favorite thing about the city you live in: The architecture, brick streets, museums and covered bridges

If you could change one thing about your town, what would it be: I would like to establish historic districts to protect our older homes and businesses.
