Thursday night sports update

The Princeton Tigresses got back in the winning track Thursday at Prouty Gym, defeating Henry-Senachwine 41-12 in the Princeton Holiday Tournament action.

Zoe Mead led PHS with 12 points with Makenzey Wilson adding 10 and Abby Jaques seven. Nine of the 11 PHS players registered in the scoring column.

In other action, Putnam County defeated Bureau Valley and Stark County beat Midland.

Erie looks to wrap up a spot into Saturday's championship game when it meets LaMoille/Ohio Friday night. The White Pool finale matches PC vs. Stark County with the winner to move on to the title game.

PHS has locked up an entry in Saturday's third-place contest at 6 p.m.

At Oregon: Hall opened the season Thursday with a 47-34 defeat to Fulton in the Oregon Tip-Off Tournament. The Lady Devils return to action Friday night against Mendota.
