Quilt Guild meeting

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Quilters Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Christ Community Church, 1719 Euclid Ave. in Princeton. This will be the Christmas potluck dinner. Members are asked to bring a dish to share and table service. Drinks will be provided.

GFWC meeting

PRINCETON —  The GFWC Woman’s Club of Princeton will meet at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Prouty Building in Princeton. The PHS Choral Ensemble will present the program. Lighting contest

SHEFFIELD — A Christmas lighting contest will take place in Sheffield, with judging at 6 p.m. Dec. 16. The winner will receive a ham compliments of the Sheffield Lions Club.

Annual breakfast

SHEFFIELD — The annual Sheffield Lions Club pancake breakfast will be from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children.

Blood drive

TISKILWA — A Red Cross blood drive will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at St. Mary’s Church in Tiskilwa.

Closing announced

MANLIUS — The Manlius Historical Bank building will be closing for the winter. The final two days will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. To schedule an appointment to view the bank during the winter, call 815-713-0251, 815-445-4102 or 815-454-2532.

Red Hats event

PRINCETON — The Princeton Red Hats will collect Toys for Tots at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Princeton Elks Lodge. Members are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy and a plate of Christmas cookies.
