Marquette sizes up Lady Devils
OREGON – In the ninth-place game of the Oregon Tip-Off Tournament, it was Hall falling to Ottawa Marquette 54-28.
The Lady Red Devils really didn’t have a chance with a bigger, more physical Marquette team that jumped out to a 16-4 lead.
“We weren’t ready for them,” said Hall assistant coach Josiah Martin. “We were sitting back in a zone and they took advantage. We went back to a man-to-man defense.”
