Annual cookie walk on Saturday
Dorothy Colby (from left), Ron Colby, Eileen Dion, Billie Jean Taylor and Dorothy Young display some of the peanut brittle that will be available at Spring Valley’s United Church of Christ’s annual cookie walk, which will be held from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday. Cookies are pick-your-own and sold for $6.50 pound, and the candy is sold for $6.50 a bag. The candy can also be obtained by calling the church at 815-664-2509.
