Princeton Christmas parade set for Dec. 1

PRINCETON — The Princeton Lions Club annual Christmas parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the north end of Main Street and travel to Soldiers and Sailors Park.

The Lions Club will collect food and personal items for the Bureau County Food Pantry along the parade route. Items needed are toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent, dish soap, bar soap and canned and boxed foods.

Items can also be dropped off anytime from now until the parade at food collection boxes located at Heartland Bank, Centrue Bank, Central Bank, Sullivan’s Foods, Cannon Cleaners, Bella’s Italian Restaurant, Lincoln Plaza and the Prouty Community Building.
