A thankful month

“I believe that Thanksgiving is also a reminder to all of us that we should be thankful not only on the holiday itself, but on every day throughout the year. If we pause each day to remember all the good things we have, no matter how little or how big they might be, I think the world would be just a little bit kinder, and the stress of everyday life would be a little bit smaller.”

The next teacher is Mrs. Gerling. She says “I think that Americans in general, myself included, live a pretty fast lifestyle where we tend to take things/ blessings for granted. To me, Thanksgiving is just that - a reminder to be thankful for everything we have in our lives that we typically take for grated. I am thankful for my family. They have seen me at my best and worst and love me no matter what. Also, I’m thankful for my job. In this economy, having a job is a blessing. The music, there are so many different kinds of music out there. There is always some songs out there that can fit any mood or situation. My education, it is one thing that I worked really hard for. I was the first female in my family to graduate from college. I’m pretty proud of that. And my books, it is a great way to have access to a lot of books when you don’t have much space.”

So be ready for the food, the fun, and bonding as Thanksgiving comes around. Tell what are you thankful for? You are thankful for your family, your job, your life or anything. Just telling it is a good way to start the Thanksgiving day.
