PRINCETON — A Celebration of Life for John "JC" Dresser, 40, of Princeton will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton.

John Dresser passed away on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at his home. He was born on Feb. 19, 1972, in Romeoville to Carol (Dresser) McCarthy. He attended Illinois Valley Community College, where he studied music. He was an avid guitar player throughout his life and played guitar with many different people in many different places. Music was his life.

He is survived by his mother; one brother, Robbie; one sister, Brittney; his grandmother, Johanna Dresser; two cousins, Lisa Cater and Michelle(Dresser) Brandon of Walnut; six nephews, Patrick, Jamen, Edward Jonathon, Kole, Adam and Damian, all of Walnut; and two special friends, Ryan Sondergroth and Jillian Howard.
