AT BRIMFIELD: Kewanee 48, St. Bede 35: The Boiler Girls took control from the start with a 11-5 first quarter lead and a 22-12 halftime edge in tournament play Wednesday. Lydia Stariha had nine points and Laura Sickley six points for the Lady Bruins, who played without seniors Mo Dean and Whitely Funfsinn.
Kewanee was led by Jennifer Ensley (13 points) and Raeshonda Chandler (10).
