Robert Herrick packs his vehicle with holiday bargains and other supplies during Friday morning shopping at the Walmart store in Princeton. According to statistics from the National Retail Federation, Herrick is one of an estimated 147 million people who will get some holiday shopping done this weekend. Retailers expect to earn more than one-third of their annual sales during the holiday shopping season. The eager holiday shopper also had some Thursday evening bargains available at some area stores.
