MALDEN — Monte “Myron” Ewalt, 68, of Malden passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his home following a short battle with cancer.
Born March 6, 1944, in Princeton to Monte and Erma (Walch) Ewalt, he married Mary Ann Brumley May 11, 1984. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and construction worker.
He was a member of the Malden Methodist Church, the Princeton Moose Lodge and the Laborers International Union of North America.
Also surviving are two children, John (Tracy) Miller of Arlington and Shirley Miller of Arlington; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry (Suzanne) Ewalt of Galesburg and Reese (Myrna) Ewalt of Malden; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton, with Rev. Gary Brooks of the Malden Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Malden Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
