St. Bede 48, Princeton 36: The Bruins made Sean Hobson’s debut as head coach a successful with a win over his alma mater Tuesday at Prouty Gym.
Bruins gained wins on the mat from Anthony Schneider with a 3:36 fall over Silverio Napules at 132, Jeff Barnes by a 4:40 fall over Skyler Spencer at 170, Brendan Zimmerman by a 1:51 fall over Nathan Brishbin at 192, Joel Caulfield by a 0:30 fall over Chaz Williams at 220 and Brandon Edens by a 1:22 fall over Kyle Odell at 285.
Matt Szczepenaiak, James Peacock (138) and Chris Kerasotes (182) also won by forfeit.
For Princeton, Tim Hilliard (126) pinned Juan Flores at 0:35, Ryan Gann (145) pinned Connor MacDavitt at 0:36; Caleb Dickens (152) pinned Adam Hunter at 6:56, Drew Pranka (160) pinned Ryan Kelsey at 3:45 and Luke Marselle and Tyler Webster won by forfeit.
