Ho, ho, holiday time!

Santa Claus will make another early stop in Princeton on Saturday for the annual Christmas parade sponsored by the Princeton Lions Club. The parade kicks off at 1:30 p.m. at the north end business district and travels south to Soldiers and Sailors Park, just past Princeton’s south end business district. In additional to a welcome from Santa, members of the Princeton Lions Club will walk the parade route to collect food, paper products, soaps and personal hygiene projects from parade-goers. Collected items will be given to the Princeton Food Pantry, operated by the Tri-County Opportunities Council. Items can also be dropped off at collection boxes located at Heartland Bank, Centrue Bank, Central Bank, Sullivan’s Foods, Cannon Cleaners, Bella’s Italian Restaurant, Lincoln Plaza and the Prouty Community Building.
