DePue Christmas Walk is planned for Dec. 8
DEPUE — The DePue Christmas Walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8.
From 10 a.m. to noon, kids can have their picture taken with Santa at the DePue Fire Station. Heartland Bank will serve refreshments and hold drawings; there will be trolley rides and music in the post office parking lot.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be crafts for the kids, a jewelry sale and a bake sale at the DePue School Gym. They will also serve a lunch special. The post office and Casey’s General Store will also serve refreshments. The Selby Township Library will have crafts for kids.
A Christmas show, “It’s a Wonder-full Life,” by Tracy (Moran) DeGraaf will begin at 1 p.m. at the Congregational Church. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds will go to the Project Success Food Pantry. The Booster Club will provide free senior citizens Bingo.
