‘A Tuna Christmas’ will be the last show of 2012 season

PRINCETON — “A Tuna Christmas,” the holiday show and final play of the Festival 56 2012 season, will open at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Grace Performing Arts Center, 316 S. Main St. in Princeton. It runs through Dec. 22.

In this broad comedy written by Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, two actors portray all 24 citizens of Texas’ third smallest town. As the eccentric residents of Tuna, Texas, attempt to organize Christmas festivities, comic hell breaks loose.

Mitch Conti, fresh off performing in the other two Festival 56 fall plays, and Drew Hampton, a veteran of the 2011 and 2012 summer seasons, star in “A Tuna Christmas.”
