Drug search at Hall finds no contraband

SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies, conducted a drug search of the school and parking lots on Nov. 28. The search did not result in the discovery of contraband.

K9 searches of Hall High School are just one part of the school’s comprehensive program against drug possession and use at school. Weekly drug testing and drug abuse education are also part of the Hall High School’s drug prevention plan.

Hall High School officials appreciate the support of the following law enforcement agencies who brought K9 units to the school: Spring Valley Police, Peru Police, LaSalle County S.A.F.E. and the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
