PRINCETON — Joy E. Schertz, director of the Bureau County Chorus, recently accepted a $100 donation on behalf of the chorus.

The chorus operates with the help of generous free will donations from the communities in the area. The chorus rehearses Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church. New members are always welcome.

The group will perform a holiday concert on Dec. 8 in the Museum on Main as part of Walk Tiskilwa and again at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Evangelical Covenant Church, 24 N. Main St., Princeton.

The public is invited to attend both concerts. Admission is free but a free will donation will be accepted.
