Article:	From the editor's desk It’s kind of been a whirlwind week at the Bureau County Republican. The official closing on the Putnam County Record and The Tonica News took place Friday morning, so Shaw Media is the official owner now of these two newspapers. Former owners Elin and Cliff Arnold poured their hearts and souls into these two products, and as the new editor of both of these newspapers, I have promised the Arnolds we won’t disappoint them.
