PRINCETON — The Princeton Community Band will present a winter concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 16 in Princeton High School’s Sally Skinner Council Auditorium.

The program will include such standards as “Sleigh Ride,” “Russian Christmas Music” and selections from “The Nutcracker,” as well as a medley of holiday favorites, to name a few. The band will also play some lesser-known holiday music and other selections.

Since its inception in 2005, the Princeton Community Band has performed a free concert series each summer in Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Park. The winter concert will be the band’s first-ever holiday concert, and it will mark the band’s first-ever indoor performance.

For this concert, the band will be under the direction of Brandon Stover, band director for the Princeton Elementary School District.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
