Princeton man turns himself in

PRINCETON - The Princeton man who was the subject of a day-long search by authorities has turned himself into the Bureau County Jail.

Princeton Police Chief Tom Root said Geno Storm turned himself into the jail at about 6:30 p.m. Monday without incident.

Authorities had been searching for Storm since mid-morning when he allegedly left his home wiith a shotgun and allegedly was suicidal.

When he turned himself into authorities, Storm said he was not suicidal and refused to go to a hospital, Root said. Storm also refused to answer any more questions and said he wanted an attorney.

Storm is being held at the county jail and is being charged with one count of domestic battery, with other charges pending, Root said.
