Sturm pleads guilty to felony
PRINCETON — Nicholas B. Sturm, 24, of Kewanee has pleaded guilty in Bureau County Court to the Class 3 felony of violating the Sex Offender Registration Act.
Sturm entered his guilty plea Nov. 21 before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. The judge ordered the probation department to conduct a pre-sentence investigation and then set a sentencing hearing for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 10.
Sturm was represented in court by Public Defender Michael Henneberry. Prosecuting the case was State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann.
