Meeting set

PRINCETON — The Princeton Junior HCE Unit will meet at noon Tuesday at the home of Marge Zimmerlein, hostess. Members are asked to bring a covered dish. The co-hostess will be Joann Johnson.

Holiday concert

DIXON — The U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America will present its holiday concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Historic Dixon Theatre. This is a free show presented by the city of Dixon, Dixon Theatre, Dixon Main Street and Dixon Tourism. Free family movie

PRINCETON — A free family Christmas movie, “Arthur Christmas,” will be shown at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at the Apollo Theater. Admission cost is a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation for the local food pantries. One adult per four children is requested. The movie is sponsored by the Bureau County Chapter of Thrivent for Lutherans and the Apollo Theater, who are working together to raise awareness of the needs of local food pantries who provide assistance to struggling families in Bureau County.
