Margaret Ary

TISKILWA — Margaret Catherine Ary, 87, of Tiskilwa passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Henry.

Born Dec. 24, 1924, in Princeton to Paul and Jane (Barry) Jamison, she married Donald Ary Oct. 1, 1955, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiskilwa. He died in 1992.

She was a graduate of Tiskilwa High School and St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria. She had been a nurse at the V.A. Research Hospital in Chicago and later at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, where she had served as head nurse until retirement.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tiskilwa, where she had been organist for many years.

Surviving are one brother, William (Janice) Jamison of Tiskilwa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Joseph; and one sister, Mary Monica Menendez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tiskilwa, with the Rev. Kevin Creegan officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tiskilwa.

Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. until the time of services Thursday in the church.

The Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
