PHS language clubs sponsor food drive

Representing the Princeton High School German and Spanish Clubs, Michael Warren (from left), Spanish; Kelly Schmidt, German; and Malena Wheeler, Spanish, are holding some of the food already accumulated in a food drive the two clubs will sponsor Dec. 10-14 to benefit the Bureau County Food Pantry. Students will compete to see which language can bring in more food. Foreign language teachers Candice Fetzer, Kim Garland and Susannah Tournear will collect donations from students all week in their classrooms. Everyone can help. Support your favorite language at the boys’ home basketball game Tuesday, where there will be a table set up to take non-perishable donations.
