PC/Hall grapplers sweep triangular

The Putnam County/Hall wrestlers swept the field at Mendota Wednesday, defeating St. Bede 33-30, Midland 48-24 and Mendota 54-24. Four individual wrestlers also went 3-0 for the night, including Dylan Croissant at 138, Tyrell Foockle at 160, Mike Milasuski at 170 and Austin Pletsch at 182.

Against St. Bede, Mario Flores defeated Schmidt 12-10 in overtime at 126 and Aaron Kerr pinned Ceulfield in 4:50 at 220. St. Bede got wins from James Peacock, who pinned Kurt Nabers in 1:48 at 132; Adam Hunter, who pinned Joe Boggio in 3:52 at 145; Nick Puhr, who defeated Jacob Levy 6-2 at 152; and Brendan Zimmerman, who defeated Nathan Tonozzi 6-1 at 195.

All of the seven contested matches with Midland were decided by pins, five going to PC/Hall. Those grapplers were Croissant (4:14), Boggio (2:58), T. Foockle (1:10), Milauski (1:12) and Pletsch (1:29).
