Peoria Christian charges past Hall

SPRING VALLEY — Twenty first-half turnovers turned up costly for the Hall Lady Red Devils Thursday night in a 47-15 loss to the  Peoria Christian Lady Chargers.

The Lady Chargers came out in a 2-2-1 full-court press, forcing 10 first-quarter turnovers and scoring the first 14 points of the game. The Lady Red Devils got on the board with moments left in the first quarter by a bucket from junior guard Kaylee Golden.

“Their defense took a tool on us,”said Hall head coach Mike Struna.  “They really forced a lot of turnovers which prevented us from scoring.”
