Dana Lynn Balma of Dalzell and Kyle Jordan Bickett of Malden are announcing their engagement. She is the daughter of John and Ladys Balma of Dalzell. He is the son of Kim and Debbie Bickett of Malden.

The bride-elect graduated from St. Bede Academy in 2005 and from Illinois Valley Community College in 2012 with a degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

Her fiancé graduate from Princeton High School in 2005 and from Blackhawk College in 2007 with a major in ag business/ag production. He is the facility manager at Northern Partners Co-Op in Malden.
