PRINCETON — A DePue man has been sentenced in Bureau County Court to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to the Class 2 felony of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Luis Flores, 36, entered his guilty plea on Dec. 6 before Associate Circuit Judge C. J. Hollerich. Flores was also required to register as a sex offender and ordered to pay fines, fees and costs totaling $1,142.

Flores was represented in court by Public Defender Michael Henneberry. Prosecuting the case was State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann.
