Lady Panthers win in overtime
The Putnam County Lady Panthers had to work a little extra to continue their winning ways Saturday at RM Germano Gymnasium in Granville.
Pushed to a 48-all time at the end of regulation by Serena, the Lady Panthers were able to outscore the Lady Huskers 15-6 in overtime for a 63-54 win in nonconference play.
Daniela Pavolich led PC (9-2) with 20 points, six in overtime, while Carly Gonet and Stephanie Wilson split 20 with 10 each.
Oregon 46, Mendota 36: Devitt scored 13 points in defeat for the Lady Trojans (6-3) at home Saturday.
Princeton 50, Hall 31 (freshmen): Ivy Rhodes led PHS with 16 points at Red Devil Gymnasium Saturday. Michaela Strom chipped in eight points and Brooke Hieronymus, Maddy Cain and Brianna Legner each added six for the Tigresses. Jazmine Delaney topped Hall with 11 points and Amanda Scheri and Samantha Osborn had six each.
