SAN ANTONIO — Air Force Airman Logan J. McCauley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, on Nov. 23.

McCauley graduated with honors, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Air Force Training Ribbon. He is currently at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, for technical training as crew chief on the B-52, and upon completion of his training in March, will be stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.

McCauley completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

McCauley is the son of Devin and Diane McCauley of rural Princeton. He is a 2012 graduate of Princeton High School, where he was active in football and wrestling.
