Lions get their revenge on AFC

LaMoille/Ohio got its revenge while DePue evened its records in boys’ basketball around North Central Illinois Tuesday night.

L/O 68, Ashton-Franklin Center 60: The Lions lost to the Raiders in an earlier meeting this season and looked to be heading in that direction again as AFC jumped out to a 20-10 first-quarter lead. The Lions closed within 31-26 at the half, took a 42-41 lead after three quarters, and finished off a 42-29 second-half advantage.

“I’m very proud of our kids. This team beat us by 20 earlier in the year. We fought back, and our kids played great,” L/O coach Brent Kalsto said.
