Samantha Lynn Robey of Ottawa and Sean Michael Niklas of Ottawa are announcing their engagement. She is the daughter of Ray Sutton of Dumfries, Va., and Linda Robey of Peru. He is the son of John and Dedira Niklas of Ottawa.

The bride-elect graduated from Princeton High School in 2010 and attended Eureka College, where she was part of the Delta Delta Pi sorority and is still involved. She is currently attending Illinois Valley Community College pursuing an associate’s degree. She is a shift supervisor at Saren Restaurants Inc. in Minooka.

Her fiancé received a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2006 from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Business Administration in 2008 from the University of Phoenix. He is a franchisee for Saren Restaurants Inc. in Peru.
