SPRING VALLEY — Spring Valley City Clerk and election official Rebecca Hansen has announced the city clerk’s office, 215 N. Greenwood St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday through Dec. 21 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 26 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the consolidated election on April 9.

Candidates may submit petitions for the offices of mayor, city clerk, city treasurer and first, second, third and fourth ward alderman. All are for four-year terms.
