Wednesday Colmone Classic Update
SPRING VALLEY - The Mendota Trojans have played their way in to the championship game of the Colmone Classic, defeating Bureau Valley 61-47 Wednesday.
The Trojans stand 3-0 in pool play, awaiting their opponent in Saturday's title game. Three-time defending champ Fieldcrest took another step to get there Wednesday, defeating Plano 59-41.
In other action, St. Bede beat Stark County 62-35. The Bruins will play for third-place Saturday.
