Waca steps down as Kewanee coach
KEWANEE — Chris Waca has resigned as the varsity football coach at Kewanee High School after four seasons.
The Princeton native submitted a letter of resignation to KHS athletic director Tim Atwell, which was accepted by the Kewanee School Board Monday evening.
In his letter of resignation, Waca stated, “After some time of reflection, I am stepping down as head football coach at Kewanee High School, effective immediately. I would like to take this chance to thank you for the opportunity and wish the Boilermaker football program success in the future.”
