SV Boosters support music programs

The Spring Valley Boosters presented checks for $250 each to four local school and community programs at the Spring Valley City Council meeting Dec. 17. Money was collected at a tag day by volunteers from Walmart Distribution Center in Spring Valley as part of the Spring Valley Boosters Christmas in the Valley event. For the past four years Walmart volunteers have partnered with the Spring Valley Boosters during the Christmas holiday season to raise funds for community organizations. Receiving checks were Father Dominic Garramone, St. Bede Academy Drama Department (from left); Bob Zeglis, chairman of the Drum Corps International Spring Valley Competition; Mike Harris, Spring Valley Elementary band; and Jenilyn Roether, Hall High School Music Department.
