PRINCETON — Anna Mae Bright-Dyer, 91 and 20 days, formerly of Sheffield, passed away at 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Colonial Hall in Princeton.

She was born Dec. 1, 1921. She was the sixth and youngest child of William Jacob Shofner and Nancy Ermine Purvis Shofner in Buffalo, Ky.

She attended Sheffield schools. She married Deward Bright March 29, 1941, in Hodgenville, Ky. He preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1992. She then married William (Carl) Dyer in Princeton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2000.
