Fred Meisenheimer

WALNUT — Rev. Fred L. Meisenheimer, 66, of Walnut died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut after a lengthy illness.

Born Dec. 23, 1945, in Walnut to Loyal and Marjorie (Wirth) Meisenheimer, he married Carolyn Lubbs Nov. 13, 1965, in the Bureau Township Community Church. She survives.

He graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College in 1970. He was a pastor in churches in Newton, Kan., Mendon, Mich., Astoria, Ill., and most recently, the Princeton Wesleyan Church of Princeton. As a pastor he was active in community events and organizations such as the chaplain of the Bureau Valley Volunteer Hospice and a charter member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
