Recently the Sunday school children from First Lutheran Church in Ohio, joined their “hearts and hands” and went shopping at Walmart in Princeton to purchase Christmas gifts to give to the Bureau County United Way Christmas for Kids Toy Drive program. All year long, these children have faithfully donated their offering money to save for a Christmas shopping trip. Many thanks go out to the 28 children and adults who were able to shop, and also the Sunday school children who were unable to be there that day. Those shopping were (in no particular order), Madison Doran, Katie Davis, Ava Williams, Tyra Sayler, Faith Lewis, Gabby Lauer, Leah Williams, Madison Vick, Meghan Davis, Nolan Doran, Rion Bell, Stacey Whitten, Jenny Hendrickson, Megan Hendrickson, Ravynne Bell, Emma Whitten, Donna Von Holten, Misty Davis, Morgan Vick, Connor Whitten, Brant Hendrickson, Bradley Davis, Dena Doran, Jennifer Williams, Chloe Williams, Toby Bell, Jonathan Bell, and Jim Whitten.
