The true meaning of Christmas

I want to recognize the Hall Township Food Pantry, Project Success, Hall High School Power Mechanics Club, the students and staffs of Hall and Ladd Grade Schools, and the numerous volunteers for giving 165 children gifts for Christmas that have not been as fortunate as other children.

It seems like the true meaning of Christmas has been forgotten, with commercialized shopping it has turned into a holiday all about presents. The true meaning of Christmas for me is the birth of Jesus Christ, spending time with family, and being thankful for all I have.

The many acts of kindness, good deeds and family values have not gone unnoticed.
