The St. Bede Lady Bruins warmed up nicely to the Lady Bruins Christmas Classic Saturday, defeating Seneca 52-22 and LaMoille/Ohio 76-33.

St. Bede moves into the driver's seat of the White Pool with Kewanee's 38-33 loss to IVC. Mendota also won two games, defeating Princeton 57-26 and Eureka in the Green Pool.

At Erie: The Bureau Valley boys defeated Wethersfield 70-55 while the BV girls cagers fell to their Wethersfield counterparts 56-23. Parker Neuhalfen (32) and soph classmate Tommy Johnston (18) accounted for 50 Storm points.
