PJWC gives back to community

PRINCETON — The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club gave out its annual “Community Needs” donations for 2012 on Dec. 21.

A total of $3,000 was donated to 25 local schools and organizations. Representatives from the organizations met in the lobby of the Prouty Building to accept their donation checks.

This year’s recipients included: Bureau County Food Pantry, Tabitha’s Hands, Western Bureau County Food Pantry, Princeton Public Library, Our Table, Women’s Health Care Unit, Bureau Valley Volunteer Hospice, D.A.R.E. Program, Bureau County Red Cross, In-Home Care VNA, Prairie Arts Council, Bureau County Health and Wellness Clinic, Making It Program, Bureau County Dental Clinic, Zearing Child Enrichment Center, Douglas Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Reagan Elementary, Logan Junior High, Princeton High School, Princeton Christian Academy, Bureau Valley Elementary, BEST Program and St. Louis.
