Food pantries benefit from 1st Farm Credit Services donations

NORMAL — As a way to recognize Illinois farmer’s role in producing a safe and bountiful food supply, while helping those who struggle with hunger, 1st Farm Credit Services has donated to local Illinois food banks.

The 1st Farm Credit Services Branch in Princeton donated $1,000 to the Bureau County Food Pantry and the Putnam County Food Pantry.

The local food banks are among 46 food banks and pantries statewide which benefited from the 1st Farm Credit Services donation, which totaled $21,500.
