Quilter’s Guild to meet

HENRY — The Marshall Putnam Quilter’s Guild will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Henry Presbyterian Church. Lunch will be “on your own” and there will be no program. There will be a workshop to make either a bargello flag or heart. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members and includes the pattern. DAR to meet

PRINCETON — The Princeton-Illinois chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Prouty Building in Princeton. The program, “War of 1812 - The town that fooled the British,” will be presented by Jane Lampkin and Lois Peterson. Hostesses are chairman Lois Peterson, Mary Allen, Barbara Heuer and Jane Lampkin.
